Google introduces a new Google News report in Search Console
Google this week introduced a new Google News report in Search Console. Google says the Google News performance report help news publishers to understand user behavior on Google News’ Android and iOS apps and on news.google.com.
Publishers can access the performance report through Search Console by clicking Google News in the left navigation.
News results on Search Results do not appear in this new report. The news results on Search Results were already available in Search Console, and continue to be available on the tab Search Results - filter Search Type: News.
The Google News report is similar to the Search Results report, containing impressions, clicks, and click-through rate (CTR), but not average position.
