Smaato appoints a new CEO to focus in North America
Smaato this month announced a new CEO. Ajitpal Pannu, previously Chief Business Officer before leaving the company in 2017, will is joining now Smaato as CEO.

Smaato this month announced a new CEO. Ajitpal Pannu, previously Chief Business Officer before leaving the company in 2017, will is joining now Smaato as CEO.
According to Smaato, the change is part of a strategic focus on North America. Ajitpal will be based in San Francisco and will lead global operations with a focus on mobile-first innovation for publishers.
Ajitpal Pannu succeeds to Arndt Groth, promoted to CEO less than 1 year ago, in June 2019. According to AdExchanger, Ajitpal Pannu is the fourth CEO in a year.
Ajitpal has nearly twenty years of experience, with leadership roles in sales and product strategy at OpenX, Adify, and DoubleClick before joining Smaato for the first time in 2013.
Smaato is a global in-app advertising platform, founded in 2005, headquartered in San Francisco, and with offices in Berlin, Hamburg, New York, Shanghai, and Singapore.
