Google this month announced that is reviewing the workflow in DV360 for the trafficking of Audio Ads. Advertisers will be able to directly upload the Companion Ads when they set up a new audio creative.
Before this change, advertisers needed to upload beforehand an image or a non-responsive HTML5 companion asset as a display creative.
This extra step will not be needed in the following weeks, as Companion Ads will be available directly on the creation of Audio Ads. Google says this streamlined workflow will save advertisers time.
Companion Ads are display ads displayed together with Audio or Video Ads. The most common dimension for audio companion ads is 300×250, and the file type can be GIF, PNG or JPG.
