Amazon creates a badge for sustainable products
Amazon last year created a new badge for sustainable products. According to Amazon, the Climate Pledge Friendly products have one or more sustainability certifications that help preserve the natural world.
The badge is on products that qualify for Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program, launched in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
Amazon is recommending retailers to create a separate page in the brand's store on Amazon, so retailers show the Climate Pledge Friendly products. Amazon says the page will help customers to discover products that align with their sustainable shopping preferences.
