Amazon restricts ads on keywords related with face masks and hand sanitizers

Amazon last month announced, that in response to COVID-19 pandemic, it is restricting advertising on keywords related to protective equipment, including face masks, hand sanitizers, surgical gloves, and other related keywords.

Amazon last month announced, that in response to COVID-19 pandemic, it is restricting advertising on keywords related to protective equipment, including face masks, hand sanitizers, surgical gloves, and other related keywords.

Advertisers right now are asking Amazon if they should pause their campaigns when out of stock. Last month, Google recommended advertisers to evaluate advertising during Coronavirus pandemic.

Google this week announced that it is giving $340 million in Google Ads credits to all SMBs that had ad spend in 2019.
