Buying ads.txt authorized sellers reduces the ad fraud in 19%, Pixalate revealed in a new research to highlight Q4 2018 trends around the IAB Tech Lab's ads.txt initiative.

Buying ads.txt authorized sellers reduces the ad fraud in 19%, Pixalate revealed in a new research to highlight Q4 2018 trends around the IAB Tech Lab's ads.txt initiative. This reduction in ad fraud, in publishers using ads.txt, is being confirmed quarter after quarter.
According to Pixalate, over 600,000 domains now have ads.txt, and the adoption increased 10% in Q4 compared to Q3 of 2018. 78% of the top 1000 sites (in terms of programmatic ad volume) have ads.txt.

Google is on 98.5% of all ads.txt files, while AppNexus is on 63% of the files.
