Facebook today announced the launch of the Stories API, an enterprise solution that allows developers, creators, and brands to use the desktop or web-based application of their choice to create and publish their Stories to publicly available Facebook Pages.

According to Meta, the Stories API is designed to make it easier for developers to integrate Stories into their existing tools and workflows. It also removes the need for users to upload their Stories manually to Facebook, which can be time-consuming and inconvenient.

To use the Stories API, developers need to register their app with Facebook and obtain the appropriate permissions. Once registered, developers can use the API to create Stories, upload media, and publish them to Facebook Pages.

The Stories API is currently available in beta, and Facebook is working with a select group of partners to test and integrate the API into their products. Meta says the API will be publicly available in the coming months.
