Creator Progression levels in Facebook

Facebook this week announced new tools and features to help creators test their content, earn rewards, and track insights to grow on the platform. The new features are available on the professional dashboard.

The professional dashboard in Facebook is a tool that helps creators and businesses manage their professional presence on the platform.

Creators can now test different captions and thumbnails for their Reels to see which one performs best. To do this, creators need to create a Reel and select up to four different captions or thumbnails to test. The results of the test will appear in your professional dashboard, and the winning variant will be automatically displayed on your profile or page.

Creators can now earn rewards for reaching different milestones in their creator journey. For example, creators who are 18+ and finish all Progression levels can become eligible to get increased visibility in Feed or have the Rising Creator label featured on their page or profile.

Facebook has also rolled out a number of new Reels metrics on professional dashboard, including Reels-specific Reach broken down by followers and non-followers, a distribution score that tells you how your Reel did compared to your other Reels, and an audience retention graph showing how long your audience watched a Reel and when they stopped watching it.

Facebook Reels are a video format complete with music, audio, AR effects, and other options. Users can watch reels from creators and make their own reels to share with friends and the world. Reels are up to 60 seconds long and can be set to music, include effects and filters, and have text and stickers added. Reels can be shared to your Feed, Story, or a Group.
