Google this week announced the Google+ APIs will be shut down in the next 90 days, following the discover of bugs and data breaches that affect up to 500k users.

David Thacker, VP, Product Management, G Suite at Google, annouced the decision to accelerate sunsetting consumer Google+, bringing it forward from August 2019 to April 2019.

Google says over the coming months will continue to provide ways to users download and migrate their data.
