Google today announced a new TV section in DV360’s Marketplace. In DV360’s Marketplace, advertisers can search publishers and inventory, now also for TV.
Glenn Thorpe, Senior Product Manager DV360 at Google, wrote that connected TV inventory surged by 75 percent in April 2020, from the previous year.
The new TV section in DV360’s Marketplace includes publishers like ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, Hulu, and National Geographic. Google says that will also add national linear TV broadcast and cable networks as well as local TV stations to TV section in Marketplace.
According to Google, the TV section in Marketplace simplifies finding and securing streaming inventory. Advertisers can see the publisher inventory by geography and by streaming devices, and generate the requests for proposals (RFP) to publishers directly from the marketplace.
