Google today updated Keyword Planner introducing 2 new features: website filtering and brand exclusions. The features are only available in English. Jane Kim, Product Manager at Google Ads, wrote that the features will roll out in other languages later this year.
Website Filtering
Website filtering enables advertisers to filter keyword ideas to only show keywords most closely related to the business (based on the advertiser’s website).
Brand Exclusions
Brand exclusion is a feature that allows advertisers to exclude keyword ideas that include brand terms.
Advertisers use Keyword Planner to research keyword ideas, get bid estimates, and plan out the search campaigns. Advertisers get relevant keyword ideas based on a seed keyword.
