Google launches a new video search report in Search Console

Google today launched new video search reports in Search Console. The new report is only available for websites that use structured data to annotate videos.

Structured data helps search engines understand when videos appear on a page, so they can be displayed with a rich visual treatment, including information on video’s duration, upload date, and other metadata, as well as previews.

According to Google, the new video search report enables advertisers and publishers to see any errors and warnings for markup implemented on the websites.

Google show the videos on the main search page; on the videos search tab; and in Discover. Here the best practices from Google.
