Google to enforce parallel tracking on YouTube starting February

Google this month announced that the deadline for advertisers to adopt parallel tracking for YouTube & partners is January 31, 2022.

According to Google, for YouTube campaigns in DV360, the final landing page defined in the click tracker and the landing page URL that is set on an ad need to be set to the same URL, including any tracking parameters.

Parallel tracking helps load the landing pages more quickly, as it delivered users directly to the landing page, while click measurement happens, in the background.
