Google this week announced that is retiring Lightbox creatives in Display & Video 360. Google says Lightbox creatives will be retired because of the low usage.
New Lightbox ads will no longer be available on August 1, 2021, and all Lightbox ads will stop serving by August 31, 2021.
In July, Google is launching Ads Creative Studio, a new unified home for creative tools.
Lightbox creatives are responsive, expandable display ads, where advertisers could display photos or videos, in a slide. Lightbox creatives were limited to Google exchange.
