Meta last week launched a Quiet Mode feature on Instagram. When Quiet Mode it’s enabled, Instagram does not send any notification, the profile activity status change to let people know, and Instagram automatically sends an auto-reply when someone sends a DM.
Meta says this will give people time for themselves. Teens are being asked to turn it on at night. Once the Quiet Mode is turned off, Instagram will show a summary of notifications.
Quiet mode is available now in the US, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
