Meta this week updated the “Why am I seeing this ad?” tool. Users can now access Ads Preferences from additional pages in the “Why am I seeing this ad?” tool.
Starting this week, the tool provides summarized information into topics about how a user activity both on and off our Meta — such as liking a post on a friend’s Facebook page or interacting with a sports website.
Users can also find new examples and illustrations explaining how Meta’s machine learning models connect various topics to show relevant ads.
Meta created “Why am I seeing this ad?” tool nearly a decade ago.
