Microsoft Advertising deprecates Hotel Center subaccounts

Microsoft Advertising is making significant changes to its hotel campaign management structure. As of April 8, 2024, the ability to create new subaccounts and manage bids within Hotel Center will be discontinued.

Hotel advertisers will need to transition to the new Lodging campaigns feature for managing their Hotel Price Ads and Property Promotion Ads.

What This Means for Advertisers

  • No More Subaccount Creation: You will no longer be able to create new subaccounts within Hotel Center.
  • Lodging Campaigns Take Over: Lodging campaigns will become the exclusive way to manage and optimize your hotel-related advertising on Microsoft Advertising.
  • Subaccounts Remain Accessible (Limited): While subaccounts will no longer serve ads, you can still access them within Hotel Center to manage your feeds (e.g., upload, edit, or verify transaction messages).

Important Deadlines

  • April 8, 2024: Subaccount creation and bid management within Hotel Center will be officially deprecated.
