Pandora says that both Pandora and AdsWizz have jointly completed a number of initiatives to earn the TAG Certified Against Fraud Seal, and to ensure transparency, and a fraud-free advertising experience on Pandora and across the AdsWizz network.
The TAG seal reassures buyers that Pandora is following anti-fraud best practices to combat fraudulent, invalid traffic and promote greater transparency in the advertising supply chain.
Here the adopted measures:
- Complied with MRC’s IVT Detection and Filtration Guidelines;
- Implemented domain threat filtration, which includes a monthly process of identifying suspicious referral domains and removing traffic they refer from ad reporting;
- Implemented Data Center Suspicious IP Filtration, which involves ingesting a list of suspicious IPs identified by TAG and supplementing with a list of IPs Pandora has identified on a monthly basis; and
- Implemented and honored Ads.txt, enabling Pandora to be more clearly identified on DSPs and enabling AdsWizz to demonstrate what inventory is covered by Ads.txt, in line with the IAB Tech Lab’s Ads.txt Specification.
AdsWizz has also adopted TAG’s Payment ID protocol which will be used on any Open RTB transaction in which they are intermediary.
“We are very pleased to recognize Pandora and AdWizz for their aggressive efforts to combat fraud across the digital advertising supply chain,” said Mike Zaneis, CEO of TAG. “By achieving the TAG Certified Against Fraud Seal, Pandora and AdWizz have made clear that they are taking rigorous steps to fight invalid traffic and protect the investments of their advertising partners. We look forward to continuing to work with them to further raise the industry’s bar on fraud prevention.”
