Spotify this week introduced video ads in Spotify Ad Studio. According to Spotify, video ads are available in the US, UK, and Canada, and are available to select advertisers in test markets, including Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
Spotify Ad Studio is a self serve ad platform where advertisers can buy Spotify video and audio ads, using Spotify data.
Spotify says advertisers can choose either the horizontal video format, which can run across all platforms, or the vertical video, which is optimized for iOS and Android.
Video ads and audio ads have similar metrics like completion rate. Spotify Ad Studio has now available real-time reporting for video ads.
Last year, Spotify introduced Interest and Real-Time Context Targeting in Ad Studio.
