Last month, TikTok’s competitors have captured 44% share of the US video-sharing app installs. That represents a climb of 12% from the prior month.
The data is from Sensor Tower that justifies the growth of TikTok’s competitors with the threat of TikTok being banned in the United States.
Donald Trump gave ByteDance a 90 days-period to either sell or spin off its TikTok business in the US. The order was signed on August, 14, 2020.
Who are TikTok’s competitors? Sensor Tower says TikTok’s rivals are Triller and Likee. In August, the market share of ByteDance’s 4 largest competitors had climbed to 44 percent, shrinking TikTok’s share by 20 percentage points in the process.
