Triton Digital this week released the latest Canada Podcast Ranker for February 2024 (January 29, 2024 - February 25, 2024). The report, utilizing Triton's Podcast Metrics measurement service, reflects a month with 11.4 million average weekly downloads.
Top Podcast Highlights
- CBC/Radio-Canada continued its dominance in the Canadian originated English-language podcast category. Front Burner and The World This Hour held the top two spots, while The Current climbed to the number three position.
- Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group) remained the top-ranked podcast overall in Canada.
- French-language podcasts from Radio Canada, Cogeco Media, and QUB held top positions in their category. Le Radiojournal (Radio Canada) remained #1 followed by Les chroniques de Pierre-Yves McSween (Cogeco Media), and Richard Martineau (QUB).
Network Success
- SiriusXM Podcast Network maintained its position as the top network with a commanding 3.69 million Average Weekly Downloads. Wondery Network came in second with 1.91 million Average Weekly Downloads, followed by CBC/Radio Canada at 1.65 million Average Weekly Downloads.
