Google yesterday introduced TV data in Reach Planner for additional 5 countries: Vietnam, France, Germany, Sweden, and Spain. TV in Reach Planner is available in Google Ads.
Google says the TV in Reach Planner (Google Ads) enables buyers to plan TV and YouTube alongside, so advertisers achieve the maximum reach and a balanced frequency across video advertising channels.
The Reach Planner is based on historical television campaign data from third-party measurement providers. Google combines then the TV data with YouTube forecasts.
Here the algorithms developed by Google to do the reach calculation. TV in Reach Planner was already available since last year for the US (using Nielsen data) and for Japan (using Intage data). Google didn’t disclose the data sources for the new countries.
