Microsoft Clarity is a free-to-use website analytics tool, similar to Google Analytics. Microsoft Clarity enables companies to measure and understand site visitor behavior.
Microsoft Clarity was launched in October 2020. Microsoft Clarity doesn’t place any caps on the traffic, as Google Analytics does. Google Analytics free tier is limited to 10 million hits per month per property.
Microsoft Clarity has an insights dashboard, clickmaps, and scrollmaps. Clickmaps inform what content on the page is important to users. Scrollmaps show whether users are seeing what’s important.
Microsoft Clarity was launched in the same month, as Digital Marketing Center, a tool from Microsoft that manages campaigns for small and medium-sized business owners for free.
