Facebook today announced the introduction of Topic Exclusions and an Allow List Manager for in-stream ad placements.
According to Facebook, topic exclusions offer advertisers the possibility to avoid news, politics, gaming, and religious and spiritual content. Facebook says topic exclusion is powered by machine learning technology.
Publisher allow lists for in-stream auction provide advertisers the ability to select a list of publishers and deliver the campaigns exclusively on the content from these publishers.

Facebook is also testing content delivery reports with select advertisers for In-Stream Reserve. The content delivery reports give advertisers visibility into the video assets where their ads were delivered, an additional layer of visibility on top of the publisher level data that is already shared in reporting.
