Google Ads’ app campaigns now reach Discover inventory

Google this week extended the inventory available on the app campaigns from Google Ads. App campaigns in Google Ads now appear in Discover (formerly known as Google feed). According to Google, Discover has over 800 million monthly active users, so advertisers can scale better their app campaigns.

Discover inventory for app campaigns is for now only available in the United States. Google says that in the coming months, the Discover inventory will also become available in Malaysia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Canada, Brazil, Japan and Indonesia. According to Google, app ads in Discover will be available in all markets before the end of this year.

Google says Discover helps users to uncover fresh and interested content related to the things they care about, like topics of interest and global news.

Advertisers using Google Ads have the Discover inventory automatically available. The announcement was made this week at Think Games, at ChinaJoy.
