GreenBid this month announced it has selected Magnite as its first supply-side platform (SSP) partner. By integrating with Magnite’s platform, GreenBid will enable advertisers to purchase carbon offsets programmatically through real-time bidding (RTB) auctions, making it easier and more efficient to reduce their carbon footprint.
GreenBid’s innovative platform connects advertisers with high-quality carbon offset projects, such as forestry and renewable energy initiatives, that are verified and certified by leading standards organizations. Through the integration with Magnite, advertisers will be able to purchase carbon offsets directly within their existing programmatic advertising workflows.
“We are excited to partner with Magnite to make carbon offsets more accessible and affordable for advertisers,” said James Crooks, CEO of GreenBid. “By making carbon offsets available programmatically, we are making it easier for businesses to take action on climate change.”
“Magnite is committed to sustainability and we are proud to partner with GreenBid to provide our advertisers with a new way to reduce their environmental impact,” said Michael Barrett, President of Technology at Magnite. “This integration will help to accelerate the adoption of carbon offsets and make a positive impact on the environment.”
Benefits of GreenBid’s Integration with Magnite
- Seamless Programmatic Purchase: Advertisers can purchase carbon offsets directly within their existing programmatic advertising workflows.
- Enhanced Transparency: Advertisers have full transparency into the carbon offset projects they are supporting.
- Measurable Impact: Advertisers can track the impact of their carbon offset purchases.
Overall, GreenBid’s integration with Magnite is a significant step forward in making carbon offsets more accessible and affordable for businesses. By making it easier to purchase carbon offsets programmatically, GreenBid and Magnite are helping to accelerate the adoption of carbon offsets and make a positive impact on the environment.
