Vidoomy launched this month a new platform/new ad called Slider that enables publishers to register and contains automated verification processes, similar to Google Adsense. Slider provides access to Video opportunities for publishers not specialized in producing video content.
The policy of accepting new publishers is similar to Google AdSense with the exception that websites need to have a minimum of 3 million page views per month to be accepted. Adsense doesn't have a minimum of pages views.
Headquartered in Madrid, Europe, Vidoomy is a company specialized in monetization via video (instream and outstream). Vidoomy says that more than 2000 publishers are working with them.
For the registration in Slider, the editors have to follow 3 steps (ads.txt, javascript code validation, email confirmation). Once registered, a professional team evaluates and approve the website, so that in less than 24 hours publishers can begin to monetize the inventory.
The conditions to be accepted as Vidoomy publisher:
- Vidoomy does not accept websites of adult content, hacking, derogatory, false, violent, or related to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons or any illegal topic;
- Minimum traffic: Each website must reach a minimum of 3 million page views per month;
- Enough content: Blogs must have a minimum of 500 original and quality articles;
- Use TOP level domain: It is not allowed to use subdomains, only main domains. e.g: Publish cant use demo1.vidoomy.com, you must use vidoomy.com;
- Privacy Policy: all websites must contain a page with a privacy policy.
"Having automated this procedure was a requirement of the digital advertising industry. Now we offer the possibility of self-management to all editors and we will continue to grow in the acquisition of new inventories."
Marcos Cuesta, CEO of Vidoomy
In the Vidoomy platform, once approved, the publisher can choose the format he wants to integrate into the website: Preroll, for portals with videos, which can integrate the ad before the start of the video, as YouTube does), or the Slider, a format for websites that do not have video content.
Vidoomy says all formats are compatible with Google Adsense and display, so it represents a new source of revenue for the websites without the need to eliminate any other type of advertising.
