This week on Creator Insider, YouTube announced 3 new features for live streamers: live stream reaction analytics, impressions by new and returning viewers, and the ability to live stream in HDR.
The first feature is live stream reaction analytics. Streamers will now be able to see how many and what kind of reactions viewers gave to their live streams in real time. This will allow streamers to better understand how their audience is reacting to their content and make adjustments on the fly.
The second feature is impressions by new and returning viewers. This feature will help streamers understand how many people are seeing their streams, both new viewers and viewers who have come back to watch again. This information can be used to tailor content strategy to attract both new and returning viewers.
The third feature is the ability to live stream in HDR. HDR stands for high dynamic range, and it offers a wider range of colors and brighter whites than standard definition video. This will allow streamers to create more visually appealing streams for their viewers. To live stream in HDR, streamers will need to use the latest version of OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and have a monitor and camera that support HDR.
These new features are all designed to help streamers better understand their audience and create more engaging content.
