Google yesterday announced it has added 13 new conversion categories in Google Ads. Starting today, advertisers can group conversion actions into 19 conversion categories, such as “add to cart”, “submit lead form”, and “book appointment.”
Srinivas Rajamani, Product Manager at Google Ads wrote that Google Ads will recommend new categories for all the existing conversion actions on the Conversions page.
Google says advertisers can review and modify the suggestions, but Google will automatically apply them if advertisers haven’t already accepted them. Advertisers have until October 15th to review the suggested conversion categories.
