Google introduces an instantly match rate view for Customer Match lists in Google Ads

Google last month updated the Match Rate dimension in Google Ads for Customer Match lists to show instantly.

With the Match Rate, advertisers can see the percentage of their customer list that is usable with Customer Match.

According to Google, before advertisers had to wait to see what the match rate would be. Now advertisers can see your match rate instantly. In addition, Google is showing the match rates of previous uploads as well.

Advertisers using Google Ads can upload customer hashed data (Email, Phone, First Name, and Last Name) in a file. Google then matches the emails and phone numbers with Google Accounts.

Advertisers can use the Customer Match lists to target users in Search, Shopping, Video, and Discovery campaigns.
