Google launches open exchange Guaranteed Packages in DV360
Google last month launched the Guaranteed Packages in DV360. Guaranteed Packages are open exchange deals, with a guaranteed CPM, that automate the sourcing and matching of inventory in DV360. Only inventory from the Google Ad Manager is available.
Advertisers requesting a Guaranteed Packages can choose certain publishers, audiences, and campaign details. DV360 will suggest a packaged deal across multiple publishers that fits the specific needs.
To create a Guaranteed Package, the advertiser needs to enter the deal name, select the advertiser, start and end date of the campaign, the amount of the impressions, the frequency cap, the environment (web or app), and if it's display or video. According to Google, deals must be at least 7 days long, and no more than 90 days long, ending within 120 days of when the guaranteed is requested.
Additional targetings include specific domains or apps, demographics, devices, video player size, geography, categories, audiences, languages, ratings, and sensitive categories.
Advertisers can use conversion tracking. Quotes are automatically generated by Google, allowing deals to be finalized within minutes.
