Google to sunset Google Ads API v2 on October 21, 2020
Google’s deprecation schedule: Google Ads API v2 will be sunset on October 21, 2020. The v3 will be sunset on January 27, 2021. The v4 will be sunset on June 28, 2021.

Google last week sent a reminder that will sunset Google Ads API v2 on October 21, 2020. Google Ads API is already on the version 5. Google is advising all advertisers to upgrade to the newest version.
According to Google’s deprecation schedule, Google Ads API v2 will be sunset on October 21, 2020. The v3 will be sunset on January 27, 2021. The v4 will be sunset on June 28, 2021.
Google Ads API began to be tested in 2018, to replace AdWords API. On Google Ads API, advertisers can do account management, custom reporting, ad management based on inventory, and bid management.
Companies using Google Ads API include ad agencies, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) companies, and Big brands managing a large number of accounts.
