Searchmetrics this week appointed Ken Ogenbratt as new CFO. Ken Ogenbratt has promoted from his role as VP Finance, and he replaces the outgoing CFO Dirk Wolf, who left in March 2020.

Searchmetrics was founded in 2005 and is providing insights, consultancy, and software around search, content, and digital marketing. Searchmetrics says it is supporting thousands of businesses worldwide, including brands such as eBay, Siemens, and Barclays. Investors include Iris Capital, Verdane Capital and Holtzbrinck Digital.

“Stepping up to the CFO’s role in a business you know and love is a rare opportunity. Despite the current tough economic conditions, Searchmetrics’ focus on growth remains strong, and my team and I are perfectly positioned to deliver the financial support required to accelerate our expansion,” said Ken Ogenbratt, CFO at Searchmetrics.

Matt Colebourne, CEO, Searchmetrics said that “Ken’s deep knowledge of the business and his experience in delivering a modern, scalable finance organization put him head and shoulders above the rest of the interviewees.”

Ken Ogenbratt has over 15 years of experience in audit, accounting, treasury management and investor relations. Ken will be based in Searchmetrics’ Berlin headquarters.
