Tamedia and AXA today announced the launch of a new website to help people with no great knowledge of cars to choose a suitable vehicle. The platform Car For You was designed for the Swiss market and has a transparent price check that shows how fair the price is in comparison with similar offers too.
In the beginning of last year, insurer Axa, and publisher Tamedia, formed a joint venture that included 50/50 of the website auto.ricardo.ch, a leading auto classifieds website in Switzerland.
The new platform Car For You offers features a 360° external and internal view of the car, and a free money-back guarantee for selected vehicles. Tamedia says the platform is being continuously improved and extended in an agile startup mode
According to Tamedia, the objective is to make “Car For You” appealing for garage owners as well as potential buyers, and to establish it as a leading platform on the market in the medium term. “We want to present our users with transparent and fair offers from credible providers, and thereby position ourselves as a trustworthy partner”, says Ivo Streiff, CEO of Autoricardo.ch.
Car For You is available in German, Italian, and French, the official languages of Switzerland.
